The Human Fund has selected the All-City Arts Program as the primary beneficiary of the 2005 and 2006 annual fund distribution. Several other organizations have been targeted for small distribution amounts as well.

The All-City Arts program was initiated in 1999 within the Cleveland City Schools. Due to a reduction in state education funding, increased health care costs, decreased property tax revenue and the fact that the district does not receive state per-pupil aid for students who leave for charter schools, this program, along with many others, were eliminated from the annual budget. The All-City Arts program touches students in grades K-12 in over 100 schools. The students develop musical, performing and visual arts pieces throughout the academic year and a limited number are selected for display and performance at the All City Arts Festival held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in May. The work developed in this program is an integral part of the arts curriculum of the Cleveland City School system. Without our help this program will be eliminated next year.
