Erin Slater accepted the position of '07 pARTy Co-Chair after several years of experience in consumer branded products and marketing. Prior to The Human Fund, Erin held product management positions at two Fortune 1000 companies: American Greetings and The J.M. Smucker Co. During her stay at American Greetings she managed two product lines: humor and juvenile greeting cards. At Smucker's she managed the ice cream toppings product line and was involved in everything from sales, marketing and distribution to logistics, production and food science. Erin received her MBA from Case Western Reserve University with a focus on marketing and entrepreneurship, and her BS in biology from Baldwin-Wallace College. As a life long Clevelander Erin is passionate about the academic and economic vitality of the city, and believes art education and career development are keys to building a skilled workforce and expanding Cleveland's job market, as well as cultivating artistic awareness and enthusiasm for the arts.
